We are seeking an experienced Business Travel Consultant to join a forward thinking and dynamic travel company, hybrid working in the Newcastle area. This exciting Business Travel role is ideal for an experienced Business Travel Consultant seeking a rewarding career with a supportive team.Business Travel Consultant – Duties:
* Crafting global travel itineraries as part of a collaborative, supportive team, let this fabulous travel company help you develop your career.
* Deliver a personalised travel experience and service companies for their travel needs.
* Booking flights, accommodation and a wide range of travel services using GDS.
* Building strong relationships with travel bookers and travellers.
* Deliver a high touch service that supports the client’s programme objectives.
* Offer consistently high levels of service delivery and exceeding client expectations.
Business Travel Consultant – Essential Requirements:
* Proven experience in corporate travel is essential.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Proficiency in travel booking systems, with knowledge of Travelport (or other GDS), Evolvi, and web-based technology as an advantage.
* Knowledge of IATA published fares and net ticketing is beneficial.
* Creative, detail-oriented, and a team player.
